I see that we have re-signed ANthony MaGuire - without wishing to pour cold water on this development, I can only hope that he performs at a more consistent level than he did last time we had him.

As a member of the teambuilder 200 I would like to register my anger and disappointment at the decision to re-sign Anthony Maguire. What kind of message does it send to Hednesford supporters about the club's ambition when we sign a player who could not even hold down a regular place at Chasetown last season? I think that it is a backward move to bring back too many former players to the club.
Hednesford Town are not going to attract supporters to games by making signings like this.

I'm reminded by sources closer to Hednesford than me that Ant scored in both semis and the final of our FA Trophy campaign....
at some clubs that would make him a lifetime legend and hero so welcome back Big Tone...
So far in this spell with the club we have a 100% record, so let's give him a chance, eh?
:p

Exactly, judge the lad on what he does for Hednesford Town, not on what he didn't do for Chasetown!
Welcome back to the club Big Tone!

Ant was my man of the match last night and certainly fitted into our current team well.Enough said.!!
Well done to Rene and Tim.I thought they responded well to their cock up.Rene`s save right at the end of normal time was excellent whilst Tim`s through ball for our second goal was quality. It is this sort of spirit which will take us forward.
In saying the above, however,if that had been a league match that would have been another 2 points dropped at home.We must look to take our chances and keep mistakes to a minimum.
I thought it was an entertaining game and well worth the two hours stood in the cold.
