Ooops, still a cracking goal though Bod,defender sliced it in beautifully.
Still Ross was a lot closer to the ball than Sebastian Arnolin who tannoy announcer originally gave goal to.

Good one Bod;
my immediate comparison (older readers will remember, younger ones ask your Dad) was with a Sandy Brown bullet-header into his own net for Everton about 40? years ago - unstoppable!
We really should all have been shouting "shoot" every time the right-back got the ball after that!

Double ooops,Could not make out scorer from half way line but knew it was not Arnolin as he crossed the ball so in the immediate panic to rectify John's mistake on the Tannoy I picked the nearest player which was Ross and was actually confirmed by the Guiseley Secretary. I will have to give my mobile number to someone who stands behind the goal so that they can confirm the scorer for me when there is confusion or a scramble.
If Ross is on a goal scoring bonus he will not be getting it once the pay master general views Bods video.It will have to stand now as I have posted the forms.

Standing right behind the goal at the time, it come of the Gusiley numer two he knew he had scored an own goal. None of players were anywhere near the ball at the time. I hate to still the thunder from Ross D.:doh:

We played well on Saturday and I thought that we were very unlucky not to win the game. All the loan signings/debutants did well but Man of the Match for me was Wayne Dyer who covered a lot of ground, tackles his weight and moves the ball well.
If we play like that for the remainder of the season I am sure that we stand a great chance of making the playoffs.:clap2:

Good initial through ball from Ross Adams who will be getting my MoM vote for being consistently excellent throughout the 90 mins (when someone starts the MoM thread... :rolleyes:)
How could anyone (except the ref, it was more than two inches away from him so he probably didn't see it) fail to realise that it was an OG?!
