Results archive help.....

I'm starting on the archive for 2001-2002 season and if anyone has the Hednesford Town lineups, scorers and attendances for the last two games of that season could they let me have them please. The games in question are:

Tues 23rd April 2002 away at Cambridge City (lost 1-2) and
Sat 27th April 2002 away at Newport IOW (won 1-0)

Also any full season results for before the 1980-81 season so they can be added to the database.

The only thing I can remember is that Derek Rae scored the only goal against Newport to keep us up.

I think lakey scored away at Cambridge City.

I thought I might have a team sheet from those games, but only have the programmes - not really a lot of use as if i remember rightly they were a bit off the mark!

Okay it seems we have the two scorers so for the lineups lets try it from a different angle.....

This is my ASSUMED team for both matches so if anyone that was there for either can remember player X playing instead of player Y, we might come up with the correct lineup. It wasn't that long ago, someone must know.

I thought I also had some vague recall of Damien Charie playing on IOW, or did I dream that one? Would he have been old enough? I am sure that Kenny made a suprise selection in the team that day.

Was that really so long ago? I recall planning to travel home on the Sunday and actually shipping out on the Wednesday! Don't even mention the bloke in the wheelchair and as for the information you require Steve......can't remember a thing, sorry!
