Hallo

Looks to be some good signings in there, I'm sure Ross has played in league football for a bit as has Brisco (Port Vale??). BLunt on the other hand has been playing for a league below, Goole??? But must have some quality having been on the books at Leeds when in the Prem.

I am starting to go blue in the face, as I have on numerous occasions stated on the forum that unless it is on the home page it is not true.We will only have Wayne Dyer as a newby at Willenhall Town on Saturday.

Briscoe was unable to sign in time due to work commitments and Jason Blunt is still a registered player with Goole FC. Neil Ross is the subject of a seven day notice which is effective next week so if all goes well he should be in the squad for the Stamford game however as we have now informed everyone of our intentions who knows what will happen in the next few days, maybe Telford and Stalybridge may sign them direct and cut the middle men out.

That's an interesting point Rod but where do the press get their info ?

I agree with Bod. You imply by saying "however as we have informed everyone of our intentions who knows what will happen in the next days" that its a fans fault for it appearing in the express and star. For information about that many signings to appear in the paper, i'd say its 99.9% certain that its come from someone at the club and not a fan as you imply. Fair enough, if the information is wrong, its wrong, and the information about the current situation is appreciated but your out of order if your saying if something goes wrong with any of the transfers, its a supporters fault for posting a link to the express and star.

What with SRFC under-fives posting and supporters getting attacked for asking about what's in the press I'm beginning to wonder why I even look at this forum - it makes me feel so depressed, as if simply following Hednesford for all these years isn't a surefire Prozac prescription

I think its about time people within the club stop having a go at fans who spend there saturdays supporting the hard work you put in. All very well saying we should support the club, but how can you expect us to support the club when you have a go over every comment we make.

If they dont sign because someone is made aware by a news report they are free, then we are not wasting our time on players who dont want to wear the shirt, which seems to be mentioned on here every time we lose.

If you seem to trust PS like you say then theres no problem should the decide to go to Telford instead.

Where have I blamed supporters on this thread. By the so called news being in the express and star is where it has been broadcasted to everyone. If it was not for the supporter posting the link I would have not known about it as here on the dark side I do not get HTFC news in the local papers How come it has been taken that I am blaming the fans. I have a missus at home who puts words into my mouth I dont need HTFC fans to do the same. :tape:

"Ever heard of paper talk"
Yes, but in a case like this there must have been some communication with the E&S for them to have run the story. People do not make up these stories out of the blue. Someone must have got an inkling from someone for it to have been printed, especially as it seems to have some truth to it.
