thanks for that - finish work at 545 or thereabouts, but i will be at the mercy of the M6.....
so, how have Hednesford been doing since we crossed swords so to speak.. Just so you know, Hednesford's following at the Riverside has only been bettered 3 times in 12 years since the ground opened....

I think everyone's silence says it all.lol
Pre-season was brilliant. Also the start of the season was a massive improvement on last season so spirits were high and the team seemed to have alot of confidence. Then we deteriorated for a spell and our assistant manager left to go to walsall but i think things are on the mend (fingers crossed). We lost to Rushall on Saturday in the FA Cup, but we have alot of injuries but thats not really a good excuse for the performance. But hopefully we can all get behind the team tonite, get all three points and get back on track :clap2:

Hi,
May I suggest the M6 toll should the traffic be bad? If you get on the M42 from the NEC/Airport and follow the signs it should take approxiamtely 40 minutes to Cannock. You will require £4 though.
Hope you make it and its an enjoyable game

If using M6 Toll exit at T7 and follow the signs for Rugeley.
Its not fair though we took thousands to the Riverside and they only send one in return! Oh well every penny counts.Hope you enjoy the game
It is £8 to stand and £9-50 to sit. There is a bar open in the clubhouse if you are short of time. Programme is £2-00 and car parking is £1-00 at the ground or free on local roads.

thanks for all that - actually in Oldbury as we speak, so will be on M5 then M6 rather than coming from the NEC etc....
people on Teesside still talk about Hednesford - i seem to remember there were around 30000 in the ground all told - it was certainly a big crowd for the FA Cup anyway. And as i remember we were a shade lucky to win, was still one apiece until the last few minutes... So i grant you, MFC sending one supporter will not seem like many, but hey, your 33% of the gate receipts will have been a good few quid - at least £100,000 i would have thought.
Only Everton (FA Cup) and Huddersfield (FA Cup) have ever sold more tickets. Just so you know, Nuneaton Borough brought around 3000 two years ago for a replay.

Any jobs going where you work? It sounds a good job considering the time you have spent on here today.:):D
