Mr Starbuck and the players....
you were beaten by a bunch of donkey's so whats that make you lot?
It took 85 minutes to have a shot on goal
and Rushall if you dont have Gary Birch in the next round youre in for a dickin, one of the worst teams ive seen for a long time
Better get you fingers out on monday, you have cost the club 5 grand and you should all be ashamed of this woeful performance...

How on earth do you expect anyone to show attitude, application, commitment, passion etc etc etc, when all they get is a load of 'numtys' coming on this forum slating the Players, Manager and ANYTHING to do with the club?
The sooner this forum, where anyone with a grudge can take cheap shots at genuine people, is closed down for good, the better!
It is not a question of people 'daring to question things', as stated on another thread with a reference to the forum closing. It is the malicious manner in which certain individuals relentlessly pursue their own agenda, with absolutely naff-all constructive to contribute.
On another note, the injury situation is unlikely to improve by tomorrow night, just as Buxton come into a bit of form, http://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/index.jsp?team=405
Has anyone got anything constructive to offer rather than 'sack the Manager'?

I was lucky to miss the Rushall match (by all accounts, though I was at Ashton, Gateshead, Nth Ferriby, Solihull and Matlock in the last few weeks), but first the Manager allegedly shouts insults to a supporter, then another Club representative comes on the website forum and refers to people who dare to criticise, as 'numtys'.
Are these same 'numtys' the ones who pay £8 or more to watch the game, so by default are surely entitled to their opinions, and is this the Clubs official view of the supporters?
I really do think that some people are over-reacting here.

Teddy retrieved, the views are 'unofficial' and I still haven't heard anything constructive!

Constructive points. Secure left back to enable Adams to play in right back po sition.(Needed since January)This to bring balance to defence which last season was much tighter but isn't any more.Joe Williams has elaborated on his decision to stay at Chasetown so we move on to other targets.Go for quality replacements for those who have moved on not a revolving door of players in and out until one fits. as it doesn't work.Manager to make apology for language and actions on Saturday and move on to show what he is capable of.

You're right about the left back situation, ross adams has been our most consistent player on the right side of defence for a number of seasons, so why move him and not opt to buy a left back.
I dont know the details, whether Starbuck has tried to get a left back and been knocked back by the player or whatever, but a left back, a centre midfielder in the palmer mould, (not Steve) who will run his socks off for every last ball and win some possession would help us against a side like Rushall who were prepared to battle for every corner, throw in and goal kick. And obviously we need a goalscoring striker, a talisman who will get us regular goals.
Easier said than done but if Starbuck is the right man for the job then he should be able to succeed and find the players we so desparately need.
As for Saturday, I don't mind watching my team lose to the better team, i can take my team losing in the last minute when they deserve to win but I refuse to accept watching a Pitmen side go down without a fight and that is what we did on Saturday. It was on a par with Gedling last season and you would have thought that Starbuck primarily but also the players themselves would have given every ounce of energy to win, what, to date, was our biggest game of the season. They did it against Alfreton, why not against Rushall?
It's a big few weeks but looking at the league we are not out of the Play-Off picture, its only October, a win today would put us on 19 points from 13 games and a good run is all we would need to make a push for the play-offs. Lets hope the players who let everyone down at the club on Saturday will make amends for it tonight. We played Buxton off the park back in August, lets do it again tonight.

Could have banked £5000 cheque with a win on Saturday.York away say a share of £15,000 gate with £10,000 for winners.Would have given financial boost to help add to squad.Looks like having to do it the hard wayand on smaller league crowds

I completly agree with you. Although, i see it from both perspectives as i can understand the frustration and disappointment people have displayed as I was gutted. People may not be Starbucks biggest fan but while he is our manager, we should all get behind him and the team, I must admit when they put in performances like that... it isnt easy. :(
There have been decisions he has made this season that I have not agreed with but at the end of the day when the team is going through a difficult spell thats when they need the support the most. Expectation is high.. n rightly so. But I myself will be cheering the lads on tonite. So Good luck for tonites game lads :clap2:
