any update on Sam Hall? was being put in ambulance when I left

i noticed Macpherson didn't play today. He was at leek today

MacPherson was at Leek? He did well to get up there then considering he was in the bar before the game.

Chris Hall apparantly broke his arm in that collision. Was it their number 3 who pushed him? Hope he's happy with himself.

We played better today, not as good as we've seen though. Stupid last goal to give away although to be fair to Osset they looked a pretty good side.

Schoolboy error! I shook the man's hand, and though being 6ft odd I have quite long arms, they arent they long, trust me.

On the topic of the number 3 pushing Hall, with the game being recorded both from the Wimblebury Terrace and the Main Stand will he be viable for a punishment?

Buster4England
6th-October-2007, 16:36
well as far as i know, he was in the stand at Keys Park

doesnt look good for him staying at keys park though, seeing as though he wasnt on the bench and we had 3 centre midfielders on the bench. Hope he stays though

I think it was their number 3 who pushed Sam Hall onto the slabs, not a word from the ref. Have we got enough players left for Tuesday night's game, with 3, Ward, Nagington and Adam all substituted in the first half, apparently with muscle problems?
Much better performance today - well done everybody.

Very good performance.Pity we didn`t keep a clean sheet as I thought we defended well.Steve Palmer plays the game so simply he is a much better alternative to Macpherson.Shame about the injuries.I feel sorry for PS.Just when he gets a settled team and players start to play better three of his players get injured.Still I am sure he would take the points and only worry about the next games when they crop up.
Well done lads lets hope our season can push on from here.:clap2:

Sorry Dobba but in fact Tom (LTFC) is correct, Dave MacPherson was indeed at Leek Town and was in the Blues Bar after the match. He was accompanied by his good wife. He may have been at Keys Park earlier but the trip to Leek is not that far and why would Tom need to lie about this.

Well he's spouted bile since he signed up so forgive us for not taking his word as gospel.

I heard from a reliable source during the game that Dave MacPherson had been told by Phil Starbuck that he was being released with immediate effect.
He left Keys Park just after kick off (still wearing his Hednesford tracksuit) so it's not beyond the realms of possibility that he could have made it to Harrison Park before the final whistle (even allowing time to pick up his good wife on the way).
An educated guess would be that he's signing for Leek as we speak.
A 0-4 defeat today has left them second bottom while we have now reached the dizzy heights of 10th.
So welcome back Steve Palmer and au revoir and good luck to Macca.

Talk about being in two places at once, according to the Gateshead v Ilkeston Town report on the Ilkeston forum, Rene Gilmartin was the keeper for Ilkeston?

Interestingly, Eastwood Town have had a £10000 bid for striker Adam Muller turned down by Ilkeston, no doubt fresh injection of funds at Eastwood is giving them the opportunity to try and push for another promotion.

10 grand!!! The mind boggles. I don't know to be more surprised by the size of the fee or by Ilkeston's decision to turn it down.

Looks like we can add Eastwood to the big 6 as potential title challengers

They know Eastwood have new chairman with deep pockets willing to spend. The Ilkeston Board have fans on their backs for various reasons and to willingly sell a popular player to local rivals will not go down well. Initial resistance could bring higher fee and help pacify some as in the end they would be regarded as reluctant sellers.
