Good Evening all, just in case any of you are wondering why Ross Dyer isn't playing,he has a pulled hamstring and it was decided not to risk him.

Hi folks, just clocking on, I'm multi-tasking but will be with you as and when; good to see Robbo back and that Mario and Reece have earned a call-up

Shame that the colour-blind won't know what the team is or what the score is....

Hednesford controlling things up to now and playing some nice football.Stratford so far contained to a couple of breakaways one of which shaved the post.

Put the score in white (non colour) Glyn, hope that's better:D:D:clap2::clap2:

What is it with us and left backs, Gary Sucharewycz in stretching to make a tackle has ended up going off injured after 35 mins. His replacement Gordon Simms has slotted in at right back with Ross Adams again being moved to the left.

It's more to do with Gary Suchalongname having a terrible run of luck. He is a very decent player when available

Half Time

Stratford 0-0 Hednesford

Well on top in the first half but according to our correspondent we really need to start testing their keeper.
Mario had a good run and shot towards the end of the half and Knoxy has a put a couple over the bar.

Always a bit worrying when apparent dominance doesn't turn into goals. The Cup has a habit of throwing up games where a team is on top for 90 mins but loses concentration and concedes a sloppy goal.
Let's hope we don't fall foul of such a scenario:o

Don't waste your time looking on the BBC videprinter for HT scores from this or any other replays tonight, as usual their interest in NL football teams is peripheral

I hope our fans are allowed home?!

:eek::doh::confused:

I did warn you folks this morning that extra-time and pens was a possibility - then again my other team won with a 93rd minute goal last night so there is always hope.....

I've made myself another coffee but you'll be pleased to hear I haven't used my "lucky Hednesford mug..."

Bod
19th-September-2007, 20:11
this could be our strongest front line for the next few weeks and no goals ...concerning

Piling on the pressure now Wardie just had a great header brilliantly saved by keeper and a couple of minutes later Wardie got a terrific shot in and with the keeper well beaten a defender somehow hacked it off the line.

Still..........

How can you forget Chippenham?!?!? One major difference they haven't got a Brinaldo to turn a wild clearance/cross into a tap-in.

Really good win. Looked much more comfortable on the ball than saturday. We took a while to get going and create a decent chance but were well worth the win in the end, despite stratford going very very very very close in a couple of goalmouth scrambles. We seemed to play with 3 centre midfielders as well tonight. Seemed to suit hawthorne much better than played with 2 centre midfielders. He hardly gave away the ball. When Reece went off, Tom Ward was superb playing as a centre forward. Maybe something to think about for saturday.

Not sure about suchalongname's injury, but Reece's looked a pretty bad one. Seemed to twist his knee really sharply, but went straight down, and called for the physio straight away. Wouldnt expect him to be involved again anytime soon.
