Keith H
21st-August-2007, 19:07
15 Mins

Buxton 0-0 Hednesford

Tentative opening 15,we have had a couple of half chances, one straight at the keeper and the other over the bar.
Buxton had one good chance but shot wide.
We are playing the same system as Saturday and have probably just shaded the game so far

Bob C
21st-August-2007, 19:08
not me, we have gotta win. breeds confidence:)

21st-August-2007, 19:09
17 mins

Dominic Heath who had just come on for injured Alan Nagington went on a surging run and slid the ball to Peter Knox who fired home from inside the box

Bob C
21st-August-2007, 19:20
any news on Naggs yet, re the injury Keith

Keith H
21st-August-2007, 19:23
[30 mins

Buxton 0-1 Hednesford

Buxton throwing a bit at us now,a couple of good shots saved by Rene and another just skimmed the post.Holding steady at the moment though.

Ross Dyer has gone up front with Heath, who is already looking impressive, slotting into midfield.

Keith H
21st-August-2007, 19:24
Thats ok Terry, and Bob C no news on Naggers but will try and find out

Bob C
21st-August-2007, 19:30
Thanks Keith

Dobba
21st-August-2007, 19:38
Half time now surely?

Keith H
21st-August-2007, 19:38
Half Time

Buxton 0-1 Hednesford

Finished the half the stronger team again and should really have gone in 2-0 up as Knoxy shot straight at the keeper in a one on one.

Naggers injury hopefully doesn't look too bad as he played on for a few minutes after the tackle but couldn't shake off the knock he took, hopefully just a bit of bruising to the leg.

Bob C
21st-August-2007, 19:40
seems a great first half, thanks Keith for the info:clap2:

Luckily Darren I believe so.And I also believe the sending off was the first thing the ref has got right all night, over to you Glyn:D

Is Masha OK?

Hello Darren, my source tells me it never even phased the big lummox!

I'm also told we're holding possession well, Buxton can't get the ball and Dominic Heath is class!

Keith H
21st-August-2007, 20:34
Been getting the same feedback about Dominic Heath Terry

darrenw
21st-August-2007, 20:34
That is great news Terry/Keith. He played superb Saturday. He looks to have grown from last season.

Keith H
21st-August-2007, 20:35
4 minutes add on time and apparently we are knocking the ball around a la Brazil and really peeing em off.

I agree with you Darren, the Masha knockers are few and far between now, the kid is going to mature into a Hednesford Town legend, up there with the big names!

Terry, you just maybe right. A true legend in the making. I voted him player of the year last season. Forget the couple of mistakes he made you vote over the whole of a season. He has played so well pre season as well.

Thanks Keith for the updates and to the Fozz I presume.

Well done to the lads - it's never easy visiting a team that has won promotion as they will have momentum with them. Nice to see Knox get off the mark - hopefully the first of many

We're building up a bit of momentum ourselves now PP!

If we play possession football in this league with these players we will come very close!:tape:

Great performance lads. For those who could not make it we played some excellent football.Dominic Heath came on as sub and was outstanding.Masha had a great game as well ,kept his cool at the sending off and kept his nerve to score. The whole team performed well though and although it is early in the season we are playing the type of football that I think we have all wanted to see.I know that once word gets out people will start coming back to Keys Park in droves!!!.
