providing there is more rain, and im guessing there will be, how will they play any pre season games? or even start the league? that really is incredible.

One of their friendlies has been moved to the opponents ground, who have also decided to give all the gate reciepts to the club to help pay for the damage.

Its not just Gloucester. I was at Pershore at the weekend and it is a similar picture there.

... and I drove through Bewdley en route to Worcester, have seen the Severn in flood many times but never as bad as this
Not funny any more (if it ever was)

Glos manager Tim Harris has just been on talkSPORT, sounding pretty downcast - seems the club may never play at Meadow Park again (floodlights etc all knackered, water up to roof of stand, dressing-rooms wrecked) and even though they own it who's gonna want to buy the land to build on it?
Very sad

Both Banbury, where I previously lived and have seen Hednesford on numerous occasions, and my current local team, Abingdon Town, are scarcely any better off

Nice quote from Gloucester Manager Tim Harris.
"The lads are buoyant".
