Shame he won't be playing for us as wasn't he hailed as the goalscoring midfielder that was the missing piece in the jigsaw.:(
Hope it works out for Briggs this time. From what I remember of him he was a decent passer of the ball, but at this level you don't get much chance to dwell on the ball

from what i remember of briggs, passing the ball was about his only quality. he was slow and lightweight in midfield. i though he was a poor player in a bad team the season we got relegated.

ahh i rememeber that game. If it wasnt for some incompetent refereeing and bad luck we should have won......
Also Mark Briggs was a good (ish) player. Had good ball control and passing. When he first signed around christmas I can rememeber us having quite a good spell (considering we were bottom). I believe he did really well at Wilenhall and have no doubts hes good enough for the unibond as the standard of football is lower that what it was last time we had him.
