Don't like it!!
It might grow on me but at the moment it looks like a school kit to me!
Having heard the description I didn't think I would but amazed to say I do.
might not look quite so good on Masha though....
:p

Touché Prof. Frink, looks like a throwback from the 70’s.
Oh joy. :) We've finally given the moaners something to get their teeth into. I thought we were becoming super human but now know we are mere mortals. We got the community involved, a sixth form project resulted in the new design.and hopefully gave a 17 year old young lady the enthusiasm to look at a career in fashion.
Our kit is different, that is the point. Why copy when you can be original.
I laughed at hot pants but some came to love them. Lets wait until we see the team in the full kit before we lose any sleep over it.

Oh goodness me, what a mess, does it have lights underneath.. We will be laughed at all the way to Wembley.. I remember a certain team in the old Birmingahm league that were laughed at. and by our supporters. sorry but I am a traditionalist white is my colour always will be,
Full marks to the young lady for trying to be different which in many peoples eyes will be excellent. but for me it has not come off.

I would not class myself as a moaner, I supported the club through the troubled past three years, just expressing an opinion no offence to the designer. But what wrong with last years strip.

Well personaly I like it.
It's a little different so it will always be criticised by those that wish there were still 24 shillings in a pound.
If Stevie (the designer) reads this then I hope she isn't put off by the comments. If everyone just went "yeah, that's okay" or made no comment at all then you haven't really 'designed' anything have you?
Must say that reading through a lot of other forums, the fact that the only thing that anyone is concerned about on here is how the new shirt looks bodes well for next season

I quite like it.
I won't be buying it though, I can't justify buying two new shirts every season when we only keep them for one season.

If that is a personal skit at me, I would point out to you that I have done more for this club than you have or ever will do for the rest of your life, Your a newcomer and don't know what it is all about to have difficult times, just because you run a web site and other things, you seem to think you are the be all and end all of being a saviour. You do well with this site but don't think your god,s gif't to Hednesford Town Football Club, we all work for the Club we love. its the Club that matters, wait until you buy a strip out of your own monies and had to pay it at 25p a week simply because we had no money, I was prepared to give the Club my last. I apologies if it sounds like bragging it was not meant to.

One fact of this message board that always amuses me is how some people get stressed about comments that are made by others - people should chill out a bit!
We are talking about the design of a football shirt here - some people will like it, others won't like it, as will be the case with every other football shirt in the world. We will all have different opinions about it, and they are all valid, and nobody should try and change anybody else's opinion about the design of a shirt.
My main point though, is that if anybody does not like the new shirt, it is not a criticism of the club - they just don't like the design of the shirt! It's as simple as that!
But just remember to chill guys, the world would be a rubbish place if we all had the same opinion.

If that is a personal skit at me,
No, actually it was aimed at Fozzie who I know will recognise it as a light hearted joke and I know will take it in that way.
Thankyou for your comments about me though. I just put the website up and never claimed to do anything else for the club so a little unfair I think but I apologise if you feel offended by anything on here that I have said.

I don't like the new kit but I'm sure many others will.
Anyway, I don't buy replica shirts so it doesn't matter really.
Glyn, who do you think Shelley's dad is, cos it ain't Terry Brumpton.

Steve is a really nice guy. I am amazed he felt he had to apologise. I think Steve has under sold himself in what he does for the club but that speaks volumes of the guy.

I would not doubt what your saying is true, but he did feel the need to do it and I am sure he does not need your protection, I expect Steve can look after himself very well:)

I thought I was the only one who could wind Bob up so easily ;)
The debate you have started in my tiny mind Bob is; Was that a rant or a tirade?

Hold on a minute there never were 24 shillings to a pound. Either there were 20 or i'm getting Alzheimers
You have to allow for inflation and VAT....
Just an update on the shirt that Shelley is modelling. The shirt shown is the sample shirt. The Ltd will be removed and Charmfords red house logo will be above the 'c'. On the excellent (my view) royal blue away strip the house will be in orange.
The shirts will be worn forthe first League game, until then it will be last seasons strip. At Rhyl we will be in Red.
You think our new shirt design has caused controversy?
Imagine the uproar at Villa Park when they see this!
