NLP say the inadvertant publication of F.A.fixtures were taken off because they needed to be fully checked. So in Trophy Bromsgrove may not be playing Evesham;Buxton not home to Leek;Bradford P.A.(haven't they taken half of Witton's team?)could miss out on lucrative home tie to F.C. United of Manchester;Briggv Gresley Belper v Willlenhall Hednesford v............not quick enough to look!!
Sounds highly suspicious to me!
Could we put sealed bids in for who we want in each competition?!

RodH you say we need to wait for F.A.Cup details but we seem to have drawn Southam or Stratford at home in 1st Q Rnd
Full draws are allegedly here, though I can't get the link to the FAC 1QR to open.

If we should meet Stratford I sincerely hope we don't get taken to a replay at their place on a wet Tuesday night....
:wall:
Yes Abacus you are quite right. I have just found out myself. At 10.00am this morning the First Round fixtures were missing from the fixtures page but during the morning the FA have added a front page news item and the draw is on there. If you go to the FA Cup pages you will still see that they are still not showing the First Round draw.
I will ask Steve W to amend my news item for me as it is now out of date.
If we play Stratford Town it will see Micky Moore return to Keys Park as he is their new Manager plus we owe them one after the horror show at their old ground a couple of years ago. No need to worry about that game yet as there is plenty to keep us occupied until then. I want the League fixtures as I am getting withdrawal systems.

I had to check on Tony Kempsters site as I found F.A. details not totally clear. One minor point if the amendment is made Oct 20th is the Saturday. As you are here what day are league fixtures and do we have a full list of all current signed players-not that we are creating extra work for you!
Have not got a clue when our fixtures will be out. :confused:The silence from the League since Scarborough's fall from grace has been deafening. The Blue Square Conference are due out in the morning therefore I pesonally expect to receive ours within a week as The Unibond League are usually very efficient in these matters.
With regard to the players registered I have listed them on the home page as and when I sign them. As previously stated I have a few more to track down and I do not want to let all and sundry know who are still unsigned. Let them do there homework if they want one of our players.I am not here to make there jobs any easier. I am looking after the Pitmens interests. If they have signed then I have put it on First team news.As soon as I have got all of our intended targets on forms I will give you a comprehensive list.:tape:
Hope I can complete the signings this week so bare with me for a few more days.

The FA Trophy draw has given us an away match at either BELPER TOWN or WILLENHALL TOWN on Saturday 22nd October. If it's Belper lets hope it's dried up a bit by then. Otherwise we'll need to get the subs on early :)

cracker Steve, LOL, funny the pitch was bone hard when I went for a look en route (?!) to Burton back in the winter!
BSP fixtures are indeed out

Amazingly they've included Strangers (assumed they didn't want to play as they have no players left) but nice of them to give Farsley an easy start

Winners of game between Kidsgrove or Chasetown(prelim rnd) will go straight into 2nd Qlfy Rnd of Trophy as they would have played Scarborough.Miss out on prize money though!

stratford won 2-0 yesterday so they are the visitors to keys park in the 1st qualifying round. lets hope we have a better cup run this time than the last couple of years!!!!!!

Sutton were 4-0 down in the replay with their tenants Romulus but hit back to draw 4-4 and won on penalties. The manager reckons that will kick start their season. I would prefer to avoid such drama but a convincing win against Stratford could do the same for the Pitmen

Barnt Green have their game postponed as they are alleged to have played a player whilst suspended.Familier pattern of F.A.saying club should have known

The wheel has gone full circle - it was my abortive trip to Sutton Coldfield for our non-game there, caused by an illegible-player-situation (subsequent to which we lost at Stratford) which prompted someone* to tell me that the best way to keep in touch with goings-on at HTFC was to go on the forum.... (as the website in those days wasn't as up-to-date as it has been since Steve took over)....
... so it's his fault I've been spending 4 or more hours a week on here ever since!
