Kids for a quid in all friendlies would have at least built up an idea of how it works or not but hopefully have generated continued interest into full paying season. But that topic as has been stated already is not up for discussion!I suspect that the club need the money to contribute to the running costs but fans will pick and choose their games. As for non smoking in other stands I also refer to my previous thread where I ask are these stands not also substantially enclosed premises and subject to the ban?

The FA are apparently issuing guidelines to all clubs in the next couple of weeks on the smoking issue but I did some digging around on this subject:
The Stands at Keys Park do not seem to fit the definition of 'substantially enclosed' as defined by the Act which is this:
(2) For the purposes of section 2 of the Act, premises are substantially enclosed if they have a ceiling or roof but there is—
(a) an opening in the walls; or
(b) an aggregate area of openings in the walls, which is less than half of the area of the walls, including other structures that serve the purpose of walls and constitute the perimeter of the premises.
So it looks as though the ban is not compulsory on the terrace areas at Keys Park and I think keeping the Main Stand smoke free (and perhaps extending that to the other covered seating area?) is a good compromise.
