IF we have signed Ross Draper, then great signing! Was one of Strangers best players last season, though does pick up a lot of yellow cards.
Draper, Carter, Hall, Sheppard would be a good selection of centre midfielders to start pre-season with.

Hallo
you should have learned by now that until it is on the home page it aint happened. Although in this case one has now taken place but until the other has signed I will wait to post details.I do not want to make life easy for other clubs. Just between me and you we have just signed Sam Hall on a 12 month contract.:tape:
more to come (hopefully)
Details will be posted on home page when player A puts pen to paper.
Will let the youth news have a few hours as top news item as they might get paranoic about me posting 5 minutes after they post which seems to be the case lately (not intentional lads).

Make that one more? What about Liam Shotton from Kidsgrove described as a striker.Actually if the paper says we have signed a player wouldn't it be better to let other clubs assume that it is in the bag?

The Express & Star is reporting that The Titanic has sunk.
I won't believe it until Rod confirms it....

If its true that AJ has signed then its a great signing, was in the same team as him at Stourport a couple of years back and he was outstanding.
Quality player!

and the situation as regards Mario. Piggin part-timer, I start at 2.30am....
:D
Excellent news about Sam Hall in particular, Cloughie must have very high standards to let him go, I would love it, I would really love it, if we got Burton in the Trophy, that prat Sutt*n reffed it and Sam scored the winning goal....
:mad::p
Good news with the signings, certainly things are looking bright. :clap2:
Glyn .. I would rather see a trophy draw against the Gulls....at the Keys of course! :D

Pedro finding a day job should be too hard, what other company does Steve Price own? I'm sure he could pull some strings.:D

Has sold them all! If it was that easy it would have been done last season. Mario has moved from Walsall to South East Birmingham and with the right offer would love to move into the Cannock area. If anyone knows of a possible job and a cheap flat suitable for a small family that may be available in the area please let Terry Brumpton know by ringing him at the club on 01543 422870.

Firstly, welcome back Sam I think a great signing for us.
Secondly, Glyn are you sure about Sutton reffing? You know how upset he makes you:) Also you know what happened the last time you went to Burton's ground!! We'd best hope for its at keys park where you stand away from the dugouts!

Mario is a luxury-part time player-no brains how to play football and managers spend all their time during the match telling him what to do

Liam Shotton age 20 scored 6 in 10 for Kidsgrove has been to Keys Park and also has a choice of Nantwich. Could stay at Kidsgrove so that he can be guaranteed more football.Would be an interesting signing and with 5 substitutes we will need additional players.Nagginton probably off to Leek who wanted him back on loan last season.Apparantly scored 32 in two seasons at Leek and probably will score loads more again!

Both Liam Shotton and Nagington are training at Nantwich but no detail of having signed. The picture in the paper last week showed Steve Palmer ??I know that unless it's confirmed on the News Page it hasn't happened but is an update imminent ?
A number of players who have not been signed are currently training with the club at the moment. Steve Palmer is one of the players, Ant Maguire is another. It is normal at this time of the pre season preperation that a number of players train with the club in the hope of catching the Managers eye and earn themselves a deal for the forthcoming season.
Decisions with regard to signing any of the players will not be rushed and will be made over the next few weeks.

Confirmed on Nantwich site that they have added Liam Shotton to their ranks. Just my humble opinion but I think that Nantwich Town will be a surprise package in Unibond Prem....

Would have liked to have seen Liam Shotton at Hednesford to give strikers extra competition. As for being a surprise package I am not so sure about that with Hawthorne Whittaker and possibly Nagington on board.I cannot see that type of squad bettering Bradford P.A Eastwood Guiseley or F.C.Man U which is where the automatic slot will probably be contested.

Sam Hall broke his foot in training and Andy Jones apparantly has asked to be released as he wants a break from football (the season hasn't even started yet!).
