Seeing that Nicky Carter made one appearance for the Pitmen in his previous "spell" with the club makes me think there must be many more who've only played one game for us (or even less than 90 minutes...)??

GOT to be Danny Heron.

"highly recommended" by Peter Shirtliffe my abiding memory of this guy who was suppoed to save our season was of him trying to cross the ball with nobody else anywhere near him and somehow kicking his standing leg from underneath himself. A real comical moment

If I remember right he was subbed at half time and was last seen warming the bench at Market Drayton Town.

45 minutes at Grantham Town was all he got, before Painter was fired and he went back to University

Allan Tankard was one, who was the ex-wolves left back who we signed, played one game and decided it wasn't for him. Danny Heron wasn't the striker I was thinking of, think we loaned from Bradford I think?
