But my thoughts go out to the family of the 2 young lads killed on the M6 in your area.

I hope the police find the cause of the accident pretty quick and the punishment is not lenient due to the drivers status.

that he helped the Police with a road safety video. A sad irony; I don't know if, in quoting that, they're implying that he was using his mobile phone when the accident happened?

I won't judge the guy until the facts are known and he remains innocent until proven guilty

The video you are referring to showed him in goal on the training ground, facing a guy taking penalties whilst he tried to save them.....being on his mobile at the same time!

It certainly is implied on the local news down here that this may have been part of the cause of the tragedy.....but nothing has been officially declared as yet.

I've seen that video on the Midlands TV news tonight. Again sadly ironic.

The info now to light ie the two charges on which he faces the court tomorrow are pretty damning. Sadly, whether he is/was a pro footballer or not, two wee lads have lost their lives thanks, probably, to an act of complete idiocy.
