It was good to see former Youth Team goalkeeper, David Coombes, in goal for Loughborough University FC in the Midland Combination Challenge Cup Final at Keys Park today.
Loughborough beat Cadbury Athletic FC 2-0 in a keenly contested final and big Dave Coombes was instrumental in the second goal in injury time.
As the Cadbury keeper came up for a last ditch corner kick, 6' 5" Coombsey plucked the ball out of the air and hurled it up to his number 10 who calmly put the ball into the empty net. :clap2:
