I can't afford (time or money) to come up more than once a week, so decided to go to Youth Final on Wednesday rather than first team v. Non-Specific Urethritis and seems like I made the right decision

Good decision Mike, I haven't been able to get to see the Youth Team this season for not dissimilar reasons but Terry Mc was waxing lyrical to me before the match yesterday about the Youth Team, so I've been persuaded to do real football on Wednesday rather than couch-potato ECL stuff

Hope that many more Pitmen fans will be there (I'm sure they will) and we can maybe then end the season on a note of optimism

It should be a very good game next Wednesday, Glyn.
We will start as the 'underdogs', as Sutton Coldfield Town FC have been a very strong, free-scoring side this season.
Paul Casey has brought in some excellent young players but unfortunately, some are cup-tied as they had previously played for other clubs in the competition this season, e.g. Matt Osborne - Tipton Town FC and Simon Dumelow - Coleshill Town FC, to name two.
Our main youth team striker, Harry Hambleton, has a torn hamstring and had to miss the game of his life yesterday, England v Scotland Under 18 Schoolboys, at Wembley Stadium!
I am sure that all of the players who turn out for the young Pitmen, in the Final will give everything and, win or lose, I am sure that they will be a top quality side next season.

Ouch!!

Real shame for the lad, he and Reece should get together and compare notes....

BTW, just tried to discover the outcome of that game v the Auld Enemy, you'd expect to find a detailed report either on ther FA website (nothing?!) or here

wouldn't you....

.... ah well, it seems England won anyway....

I get disappointed that more people down put down their thoughts on a match on here-as long as it is constructive

Mario-what a luxury-20 minute substitute that all-work rate 5%
Yes I know the fans like him but we have to win matches you know.

Two full backs-goodbye
Midfield also needs sorting how to latch on to 2nd balls

All in all a very disappointing end to the season, especially how well we started-as I said before miss Fosdick from them:doh:

too right make hopefully yournot including ross adams as the full back because hes been best player this season also, we need a whole new team again next year if moved too the BGB league becasue non of this lot apart from 4 or 5(R,Adams, R,Dyer both browns, and P,Evans) all the other are not good enough. A manager wgo has got a clue would do nicely please but mastercard cant buy everthing lol
