i'd like to think that as we're gonna be stuck in this poxy division for another year we are helping out a fellow staffordshire team by offering them 3 points and a step towards survival. that way our local derby next season wont be about a four hour drive away....

i cant comment on the football as i've only seen 2 games in 2 seasons but starbuck hasnt got us relegated. thats something that most other managers have done or flirted with over the last 8 years or so (bar the one season in the southern league). i'd defo give him next season to see if he can get us into the play offs.

Couldn't understand why we started in a 4-5-1 formation when we were playing a team at the bottom of the league particularly when we looked good going forward in the 2 previous games.Our season has been over for a few games now so there was no real need to change the way we line up,just tighten the defence up.We were awful 1st half and a little better 2nd half,Leek still got through a few times in the second half but fortunately they missed or Evo saved.I know we hit the woodwork twice which if we had scored would have given us something but that should not be used to excuse a very poor performance.
Disappointed that PS did not appear to offer anything from the bench,sitting in the dugout throughout.
Never mind talking about a new striker he hopes will join next season(last night's Sporting Star) I would prefer the defence being sorted out.
Who knows what the line up will be tomorrow.
